Nabila Karimah

Nabila Karimah is a fashion designer, educator, and merchandising professional with over a decade of experience in the Indonesian fashion industry. She holds a diploma from ESMOD Jakarta (Fashion Design & Creation, 2014) and a Master's degree in Fashion Design from Accademia Riaci, Florence, Italy (2020). Her womenswear collections draw from cultural and conceptual research, with notable works including Rhythm of Culture (S/S 2025), which incorporates traditional Indonesian Lurik fabric in a sustainable ready-to-wear format, and Identification of Dayak, which won 2nd place at the International Art & Design Competition at Accademia Riaci (2019, Professional Division). Her competition record also includes 1st place at the Bioecofriendly Project ESMOD Jakarta Fashion Festival (2012) and 3rd place at the Giuliacarla Cecchi International Competition in Florence (2014). Since 2018, she has been a Fashion Lecturer at ESMOD Jakarta. Her career spans from freelance fashion design creating custom garments and exploring new trends to fashion merchandising, where she specialized in product selection, sales performance analysis, and customer behavior insights. She holds a BNSP Certificate of Competence as a Stylist-Based Fashion Designer (valid through 2027).
